JOINT EU INTELLIGENCE SCHOOL (JEIS)

The JEIS, in collaboration with member states, NATO CoEs , Intelligence and Security Services, will provide education and training in intelligence disciplines and other specific fields to EU member states intelligence and non military personnel.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

EUGS aims at installing in Member States a “unity of purpose” that will translate into “unity in action”. The Hellenic National Defence General Staff – HNDGS, in alignment with the LoA of CSDP and the goals of EUGS, focuses on enhancing cooperation between member states and organizations on the intelligence field. Commanders / Heads of military / civil missions and operations are relying on skilled and alerted intelligence officers capable to produce more reliable assessments for successful missions and operations. JEIS intends to collaborate with member states, NATO CoEs, Intelligence and Security Services as well, in order to provide education on intelligence disciplines and other specific fields such as MASINT, Biometrics etc, to EU member states intelligence officers. SME’s may collaborate within JEIS body, adapting courses on member states needs and EU’s institutional as well. JEIS as an EU MS body/ institution may provide intelligence education / training to non-NATO EU MS.

OBJECTIVES/PRODUCTS

The objective of this project is to establish a Joint EU Intelligence School in order to train EU military and non-military personnel in Intelligence disciplines.
